Well when we were graced with the first new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer, we clearly were given looks at Leo, Mikey, April and a little bit of the Shredder. Then we got to see some minimalist movie posters. Well it’s time to see all of our favorite reptilian brothers in this newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer. Prepare to wish this movie opened 2 minutes from now.
New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 trailer
If there’s one place I 100% have to start it’s Donatello. Michael Bay did exactly what he should have done with Donnie, and unleashed the geek! He has some crazy tech gear all over his shell. He’s rocking some squared-off hipster glasses over his mask/headband. If there is a turtle that was often overlooked with a style but tried to be compensated via his personality, it was Donatello. I love that we can look at him and see everything we already know about him. Not to be short about the rest of the guys, but I really appreciate so much attention to detail when it comes to our tech-geek in a half-shell.
The biggest tease is still the biggest tease when the first trailer dropped. At that point, the question was, “Where is Master Splinter in this film?” Now the question is, “What does Master Splinter really look like in this film?” This is the best we’ve seen of him so far.
Quite the tease, no? I have a feeling he is going to be such an unbelievable character in this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. Another tease but a very cool look, is our main man and ruthless villain, The Shredder. Old Shred Head looks like he’s ready to tear some things apart. We still only have a side profile and a silhouette to go by, but lets not pretend this doesn’t give us a good idea what to expect.
So there we have it. Our boys are back and they look great. Raph is still pretty hidden but if you’re curious who the turtle is that destroys the car… that would be our boy, Raphael. The trailers are giving fans anxiety because all they want is to be able to watch it right now. Who can blame them? Certainly not me.
So who’s your favorite look? Are you into the new angle Michael Bay is taking on this version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Let’s hear what you have to say down in the comments and I’ll see you down there.
Have you guys heard about facebook, twitter and instagram yet? They don’t work with rotary phones but if you’ve upgraded recently, you should hit me up on them.
